About Me
I'm Liejan Lawrsel Maurin Luengo, but address me as Liejan (pronounced like "Lijan", btw), I was born on 18 September 2010 and I was raised and still living in Cebu City, Philippines. I'm a passionate developer working across web and software from, although the web is where I feel most at home, and it's where I can express my creativity the most without having to deal with the complexity of other platforms... basically what i'm saying is i get tired of compilers or a platform-specific feature. I enjoy building things for fun while also learning new techniques and improving my skills. I believe that anyone can create anything with just a bit of curiosity, patience, time, and the right tools.
Since 2024, I've been building liefOS, a project that started as a prototype into a fluid, consistent, and complex virtual/simulated operating system built with JavaScript, It's more than just an UI, it has it's own unique functionalities and features. It's also more than just a code or a project, it has been with me since the start of my programming journey, shaping who I am as a developer.
I'm proficient in JavaScript, Electron.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS. I'm still learning about C++, Java and C, but I have a strong foundation in programming and I'm always eager to learn more. I'm always curious and never afraid to try something new.
If I could pick one object inside my backpack, what would describe me as a person? That's the question one of our class teacher asked us to answer. The one thing that best describes me is my MacBook Air (M2, 2022). It's not just a device, it's a tool for me that allows me to create, learn, and explore new things... And I also code in my free time, I don't really play much of online games.
Honourable mention to my old Lenovo IdeaPad, the laptop where I started my programming journey.
I also love coffee, especially Starbucks. It's the taste, and the experience of having a cup of coffee while coding or working on projects... And it's also being stereotyped to bring a laptop when on Starbucks lmfaoo.

liefOS (Closed Source)
This is the main actual liefOS software, which is a closed source project. It is ran inside the liefOS Client and nowhere else. It is a complex software that is still in development, but it is already functional and has a lot of features.
